Private label clothing

Tokmanni loves popular supermarket fashion just as much as its customers do. Tokmanni is one of the most popular* clothing retailers in Finland and sells its clothing products online and in its approximately 200 Tokmanni stores across Finland. In addition, shoe store chains Click Shoes and Shoe House became part of Tokmanni Group in 2023. We design the majority of our clothing products itself in Finland, and Tokmanni Group's private labels for clothing include Catmandoo, Pola, Pola Plus, Force New Attitude, Peuhu, R-Cover, Vaeltaja, Future TT Sport and Noixx. In addition, 2Moons, a private label created by Click Shoes and Shoe House, has become one of Tokmanni Group's private labels.

Our designers, pattern makers, buyers and other members of our clothing products team work hard at our Administration and Logistics Centre in Mäntsälä to ensure that our customers will find suitable everyday wear at today and in the future.

We want to offer the whole family a diverse assortment of easy to buy and use clothing products that are suitable for daily life. When designing our collections, we aim to offer not only excellent value for money but also to ensure that our clothing products cater for as many different body types as possible and are comfortable to wear. We believe that designing our clothing products in Finland helps us to meet our customers’ expectations.

Can a variety discount retailer really sell responsible clothing? Yes, it can! On!

We are taking various concrete measures to promote responsible sourcing. Tokmanni Group's private label clothing products sold in Tokmanni stores are manufactured in BSCI-audited, i.e. third-party audited, factories.

We also carry out our own factory inspections to check not only working conditions but also product quality and the factory’s quality assurance processes. For example, in October 2022, we visited the factories we use in Bangladesh, and had discussions with the different factories on issues such as the status of women, wages, environmental issues, quality control and occupational health and safety. By getting to know our factories, we can work with them to make their and our operations even better.

In order to make our supply chain more transparent, we have published a list on our website of the factories that manufacture our private label clothing, shoes, bags and accessories that are sold in our Tokmanni stores and Tokmanni online store.

We are committed to sourcing 100% of cotton in our private label products (sold in Tokmanni stores) sustainably by the end of 2024. We define sustainable cotton as organic, recycled, or produced in line with Better Cotton (BC) or the Fairtrade International. We are making progress towards this target and by the end of 2022, for example, 33 % (2021: 15%) of the cotton in our private label products was in compliance with the above. Of this, the share of cotton produced in line with Better Cotton was 29% (2021: 4%) at the end of 2022. Read more about our cotton policy here.

We design our collections for all seasons, so they change according to the time of year. Everyday clothing staples such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, jogging bottoms, socks and underwear remain in our core selection all year round. We sell all our clothing products that are on sale, so nothing goes to waste.

Catmandoo

Established in 1974, the Finnish brand Catmandoo is best known for its jackets, trousers, shirts, underwear, mid-layers, footwear and accessories.

Catmandoo has been one of Tokmanni Group's private labels since 2023. Some of Catmandoo's products are already sold in Tokmanni stores, and in the spring of 2024, there will be new products designed in Finland and manufactured under Tokmanni Group's ownership.

Catmandoo’s textiles were awarded the right to use the Design from Finland label from November 2019. The same label can now be seen on the indoor and outdoor clothing products of many of Tokmanni’s private labels in apparel, such as Pola. The Design from Finland label, awarded by the Association for Finnish Work, indicates that a product or service has been designed in Finland in a professional, responsible and user-oriented way.

Pola and Pola Plus

Feminine and contemporary, Pola is Tokmanni Group’s private label focused on women’s apparel. Our aim is to ensure that our customers can find go-to essentials that suit their daily lives, as well as the latest trends – not forgetting good value for money. Pola’s sister brand, Pola Plus, offers products in plus sizes, as the name suggests.

Force New Attitude

Force New Attitude offers its wearer a range of comfortable and simply stylish menswear products. The range of t-shirts, sweatshirts, jogging bottoms, hoodies and jeans for all occasions all year round is complemented by a wide selection of knitwear, flannel shirts, long-sleeved jersey shirts and polo neck tops.

Peuhu and R-Cover

Peuhu clothing products are made for pre-school children, so the designs and sizing focus on clothes that are comfortable to wear and materials that are soft and easy to care for. Peuhu also has a changing collection of baby clothes. R-Cover offers clothing products for school children.

Vaeltaja

Vaeltaja’s constantly growing collection meets our need to get out and about in nature. The clothes and accessories in the Vaeltaja collection are timeless, practical, highly functional in terms of comfort and they are affordable, which makes them perfect for all types of active people. The products in the collection are available in adult sizes.

Future TT Sport

Our Future TT Sport private label focuses on active lifestyle and sportswear. We pay attentention to the requirements of active lifestyle and the versatility of the clothing products. In addition to clothing products, the assortment covers a wide selection of exercise and leisure equipment such as kettlebells, yoga mats, exercise bands, trampolines, sports bottles, outdoor game sets, and nordic walking sticks.

2Moons

Thanks to Click Shoes and Shoes House store chains, which became part of Tokmanni Group in 2023, 2Moons has become familiar to customers across Finland. 2Moons has been Click Shoes' and Shoes House's private label for a long a time. The assortment consists of different kind of footwear.

Noixx

Noixx is Tokmanni's private label for shoes, accessories and bags. The assortment includes hats, scarves, gloves, bags, suitcases, glasses, shoes and umbrellas. The private label has products for the whole family.
